Walker Manor Bed and Breakfast sits in the Historic Downtown District, of Gladewater Texas with red brick streets and is known as the Antique Capital of East Texas.   After visiting our tea room, we are within walking distance of shops, restaurants, museums, and an awesome bookstore.  We encourage you to enjoy our authentic Southern porches, slow down, relax and visit our quaint town.
Gladewater was established as a train town in 1873 and it was considered prestigious to live near the depot or tracks.  Many of our guests think 'our trains' add to the nostalgia of the home and enjoy waving at the conductors from our century old porches.

A Southern Pacific Railroad track runs through the heart of Gladewater passing 225 feet from the front door of Walker Manor.  Walker Manor is not aware of their schedules and we apologize for any momentary inconvenience caused by the trains.  However, many people think 'our trains' add to the nostalgia of the home, since Gladewater was established as a train town in 1872.

Please also note that due to the private residence status and the historic nature of the home, Walker Manor is NOT ADA accessible.
