Teas:

The annual Mother-Daughter Tea is held the weekend of Mother's Day.

Simple Teas (primarily scones and tea) are available. Prefer a traditional

tea (more like a luncheon)? Please call for reservations and pricing.

Rain Policy

Walker Manor has no control over weather conditions. We do our best to send requests Heavenwards on your special day. However, we are unable to refund deposits in case of inclement weather. Walker Manor can suggest "plan B" options, but Plan B options will not result in any refunds or discounts to the contracted price.

Our Trains

A Southern Pacific railroad track runs through the heart of Gladewater, passing 225 feet from the front door of Walker Manor. Various trains, ranging from freights to Amtrak, pass several times a day and/or night. As with the weather, Walker Manor has no control over the trains or their schedules and cannot be held responsible for any momentary inconvenience caused by them. However, some people think the trains add to the nostalgia of the home, since Gladewater was established as a "train town".
